The Episcopal Church is very serious about protecting children and youth from sexual abuse, harassment, and exploitation.
Per our Diocesan requirement - anyone who works with Children and/or Youth in a church setting or church sponsored overnight setting, must receive this training, and it must be renewed every two years.
This training is also for any adult, parent, or not, who wishes to be educated in order to help protect children and youth from sexual misconduct in congregations, dioceses, other church institutions, schools, camps, and, at home.
Please also please bring $5 to offset cost of lunch.
If you have been a victim of abuse yourself or are close to someone who has been, special private training can be arranged for you.
