Notice to the Parish Family:
In the context of our noonday Eucharist and Healing service, we are going to begin a small group discussion immediately following the service (approximately 12:30 PM), each Wednesday in June. The purpose of these meetings will be to explore issues related to health and wholeness, illness and pain, aging, death and dying, healing, intercessory prayer, and laying on of hands.
This will be a small group experience that may have meaning for anyone suffering illness and/or pain, persons of advancing age, their family members and caregivers, and those who have a diagnosis of a potentially life-ending condition.
The Wednesday service is held in the chapel at 12:00 Noon. The small group discussion will follow in the Undercroft. As we get more organized for it, we may have simple sandwiches to modestly feed the body, as we share this spiritual quest.
I hope many of you will elect to join us for these five Wednesdays in June.
