Old Chapel Church - Penhook
For those interested in local church history, Becky Farrar has arranged for us to receive a tour of the Old Chapel Church in Penhook on Monday, September 9. Built in 1769, this is one of four surviving frame Anglican churches in Virginia and the oldest surviving frame structure in the Southwest of the state; the cemetery dates to 1753. All are invited to come; we will leave from the Parish House parking lot at 9:30 am.
