Public Theology meets on Wednesday, October 11, at Mountain Valley Brewing (4220 Mountain Valley Rd, Axton). This month, in celebration of the Feast of St. Francis (October 4), our discussion will be “Channel Your Peace,” talking about the Prayer of St. Francis: what God’s peace is, and what it means to be a channel (or instrument) of that peace. At the end of the evening, Fr. John and Pastors Faith and Ryan will offer blessings to any dogs or other animals you bring. Food will be available from a vendor at the beginning at 6:00 p.m., and the discussion goes from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
