The Fishburne House Rectory

Rectory is Being Prepared for New Residents!

Work continues on the Rectory.  Bishop Mark Bourlakas and Rev. Jonathan F. Harris, Transition Minister, toured the home during their visit in late February.  Both felt having the Rectory rennovated and ready for our new Rector would be a true asset to our parish.

New tile flooring has been installed and the kitchen is coming along quite nicely.  The cabinets will soon be installed.  Fresh paint makes the whole house look great.  The hardwood floors will be refinished to complete the refurbished property.

Work continues on the exterior of the home. A work day is being planned for September.

Father Nick Hull, his lovely wife Leandra Burke, and Nilla Bean will arrive October 10th! Father Nick's first service will be October 16th. Plans are underway to welcome them to their new home, the Rectory. They are very excited as are we.  Stop by to take a look at the work that has been acomplished under the terrific leadership of Trent Bowles; lend a hand if you can.

Thank you to those who have generously contributed. We have made great progress and are over half way to our goal! If you have not yet given and wish to do so, merely send your check to the church office and note “Rectory” on the memo line. If you have any questions, please contact Debbie Lewis at 276-634-7554 or Sue Rosser at 276-226-5530.  We welcome all contributions of time, talent, and funds.
