Russ will be celebrating his Last Sunday with us as our Interim Rector.

As we all are aware, our beloved part time interim rector, Russ Ingersoll, will be leaving us at the end of this month. His last Sunday will be June 26.
The congregation is invited to a lunch reception at the Parish House following the 10:30 service that day to celebrate Russs ministry, say farewell and thank him for all that he has done for us.
When I discussed this with Russ, I told him that I intended to ask the congregation for donations to cover the cost of the reception with the left over funds which I hope will be substantial being given to him as the customary gift for a departing rector. He was glad to hear of the lunch but, as to the parting gift, he would have none of it. Rather, he directed that the money that would have gone to him be placed in the discretionary fund for our new minister.
I thus invite gifts to the church to cover the cost of the lunch and to provide Russ with the farewell gift he has requested an ample discretionary fund for our next minister. You can make your gift by check payable to the church with a notation In honor of Russ.
